Heirloom Apple Festival

Sunday, October 15th

Apples, Apples, Apples!

Join us for our 24th annual celebration of all things APPLE!  We grow over 20 varieties of modern and heirloom apples, which will be on display to sample and compare.  Whether it’s for baking a pie, making applesauce or simply for fresh eating, we can help you find the very best variety to suit your taste.  Apple picking will not be available this year, unfortunately…our apple trees have been picked clean!  You will still be able to enjoy apple sampling and purchase apples from our farm store.

Hot Off the Grill

We will be grilling up our favorite chicken apple sausages and topping them with caramelized onions.  Other treats include our signature squash soup, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, hot apple cider, and of course, homemade apple pie!  We bake our pies with individual varieties, so you can choose your favorite, or perhaps find a new one!

Live Music

Live Music:  1pm – 3pm
Woodlander will be joining us this year!  Formed from the acoustic kernel of Wheatfield, Woodlander is a trio of award-winning multi-instrumentalists and vocalists who play acoustic Americana.  For more info, check out their Facebook page.

Wine Tasting & Gourmet Sampling

Sip wine from our local winemaker, Neil Frederickson, of Provincial Vineyards.  And sample an array of some of our favorite, seasonal gourmet foods…caramel sauces, apple & pear butters and more!

Family Activities

We will be joined by our friendly, local Alpaca farm, Easy Go Farm, who will be here with their adorable alpacas, along with an array of handmade goods.  Kids will have fun playing in our various straw mazes, pyramid house and treasure hunt.  And hayrides will be available for the entire family to get to and from the orchard.
